La Daille is the first cluster of accommodation you pass when driving into Val d’Isère — a compact village of apartment buildings and chalets at the foot of the Isère valley, before the gorge narrows toward the main resort. It has its own gondola, the Télécabine de La Daille, which carries skiers from the valley floor directly to the Rocher de Bellevarde.
Why La Daille
For clients staying in La Daille apartments or arriving by car, this is the natural starting point for a private ski day. There is no need to drive further into the resort or navigate the town-centre car parks. The gondola station has a car park nearby, and the early-morning routine is straightforward: park, gear up, meet your coach, head up.
The Télécabine de La Daille links to the same Bellevarde ski area accessible from the town centre, meaning the terrain is identical once you are at the top. From Rocher de Bellevarde, you can ski down the La Daille side (a long, winding blue-red descent), the town-centre side, or connect via traverse toward Tignes if the day allows.
La Daille is also used as a convenient meeting point by clients who want to simplify logistics. Families with children, groups with hire equipment, and anyone who values a calm and organised start will appreciate having a clear landmark at the gondola base rather than navigating the resort centre on foot.
How We Meet
We meet at the La Daille gondola station at the base of the village. The station is visible from the D902 road and has clear signage. The exact meeting point — entrance side or near the car park — is confirmed when you book. Paid parking is available in the La Daille car park approximately 200m from the gondola. On busy mornings, arriving before 9h00 keeps the process smooth.
